A Bachelor's in City of Regional Planning (BSCRP) from the Knowlton School of Architecture and Planning at The Ohio State University is a major piece of the foundation on which I'm building my planning career on.
My BSCRP experience has provided me with the knowledge, critical thinking and cultural competence necessary to connect across communities in my pursuit to deliver high quality public goods for all.
Columbus, Ohio's Transportation Outlook
Planning History Document (Autumn 2024)
This assignment was instrumental in developing a robust understanding of the historical planning context that Columbus, Ohio exists in today.
I used resources from the Ohio State Library systems as well as the Columbus Metropolitan Library system's history and genealogy department to review Columbus Metropolitan plans from the 19th and 20th century to synthesize this report. This informs the work I do with the Department of Public Service by providing context for the transportation issues Columbus is looking to resolve ahead of 2050.
Competencies: Historical & Cultural Contexts, Communication

Low-Stress Bike Network Access Presentation Document (Autumn 2025)
This assignment used geospatial analysis tools — specifically PostGIS — to conduct spatial analysis using a user created and managed geodatabase.
I created a database, normalized imported data, created buffers and enriched buffer geometries after connecting my local geodatabase to ESRI ArcGIS Pro. As a result of this data manipulation I was able to use a 0.5 mile bike-shed to estimate how many households would be served if all proposed Bike Plus plan bike-ways were constructed by 2050.
Tools Used: PGAdmin, Postgres SQL, PostGIS, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ESRI Business Analytics
Competencies: Tech-Savvy, Professional Experience, Policy/Law, Communication, Interdisciplinary, Professional Use of Self

Dialogue Blend Final Presentation Document
(Autumn 2025)
This project is the result of a collaborative effort to create a planning process to address the issue of shared-mobility parking in the Franklinton Neighborhood.
Franklinton is a historically underserved neighborhood with a long history of top-down planning and its negative impacts. Our designed engagement process aimed to acknowledge and account for that fact. One of the major contributions I made to this designed process was proactive stakeholder engagement. I was able to network with community leaders in Franklinton directly by simply engaging with their businesses or organizations, expediting our stakeholder discovery process.

Safe Summit Proposal Streemix Rendering
(Spring 2025)
This project challenged me to think critically about solving a problem of place and movement in the University District neighborhood given the local context and its regional importance.
Using literature review and results from several arterial Bus Rapid Transit projects across the United States including information gathered during walk audits about the condition of the University District neighborhood, I was able to determine that a reconfiguration of the roadway to reduce the width of the roadway available to general purpose vehicles would positively impact the streetscape and surrounding neighborhood.

This studio project moved me out of my planning comfort-zone by providing me with the experience of working with a private real-estate developer to revitalize an outlet mall.
I helped my studio team conduct research on current conditions, public sentiment and economic context of the township and county surrounding the mall. We used this information to work with the developer to develop an economic development strategy that used three approaches to revitalize the mall: keep as-is and improve, capture new customer base in the form of long-haul truck operators or refocus the mall away from retail. I produced all maps used in the final document using ArcGIS and Adobe Illustrator.
Tools Used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, ESRI ArcGIS Pro
